When is the next Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination is going to be conducted? Generally, in which month does UPSC exam takes place? My date of birth is 26th December, 2001. Am I eligible to appear for the upcoming UPSC examination?

As per the UPSC 2020 examination calendar, the next Civil Services examination ( often known as UPSC/ IAS/IPS examination ) Preliminary test is scheduled to be held on 31.05.2020.

Also, the age criteria required for appearing in the Civil Services examination is 21 years to 32 years as on the 1st August of year of examination. Also, there is provision of upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

So, being born on 26.12.2001, you can appear in the Civil Services examination 2023 for the first time.
