i want to go for MAT exam in Feb. So i want to know all the necessary information

MAT exam will be next will be on FEBURARY and its notification will be release before 1 month!!!so be updated within January month!!

The MAT exam will be conducted in two different modes.

1. Paper based test
2. Computer based online test
You can choose any one of the two modes to take MAT.

The application procedure are
*Purchase the MAT bulletin from the MAT application sales counters and send your filled in application form.
OR
*register online and make payment either by DD or credit card.

The list of sale counters is available on MAT official website.

The important dates are

Last Date For sale of Forms 15 January 2011 (Saturday)

Last Date for submission of filled in Registration Forms at AIMA, New Delhi 18 January 2011 (Tuesday)

Last Date For Online Registration 15 January 2011 (Saturday)

Last Date for submission of filled in Online Registration Forms at AIMA, New Delhi 18 January 2011 (Tuesday)

Test Date (For Paper- Based Test) 06 February 2011

Test Date (Computer Based Test) 12 February 2011 (Saturday) onwards

The details of MAT, february 2011 exam is as follows:

Schedule of MAT 2011 expected dates:

Date of Issuing MAT application form: Up to Second week of January 2011
Last date of receipt of filled application forms: Mid of January 2011.
Date of Test: February 1st week, 2011

Eligibility for MAT:
The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognised University or equivalent. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc.) can also apply.

Application procedure:
1. Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR against cash payment of Rs 1050/- (One thousand fifty only) from AIMA, New Delhi.

or

2. Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1050/- (One thousand fifty only) in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website www.aima-ind.org/MATsep10 alongwith the DD details. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

MAT is necessary for admission into the Post Graduate Diploma in Management , Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology.The govt of insia has introduced MAT national ebtrance test for admissions inMBA,MCA,profeesional courses in IT sector and all the management secotrs and their equivalent courses available.It is generally held in he month of december or january every year.The MAT entrance exam forms are available oline in the official MAT exam site or just a google search will help you tu find the forms of MAT entrance exam.

MAT stands for the Management Aptitude Test Which is conducted by All India Management Testing Service for entering into MBA or equivalent post graduate programs.

MAT Exam Details :-
Total Questions: 200
Time: 150 minutes

Total 200 questions are devided into five sections like :-

Reading Comprehension (40 Marks)
Data Interpretation/Data sufficiency (40 Marks)
Quantitative Aptitude (40 Marks)
Logical and Critical reasoning (40 Marks)
General Awareness (40 Marks)


Syllabus Includes five papers like:-

1) Language Comprehension
2) Mathematical Skills
3) Data Analysis
4) Intelligence & Critical Reasoning
5) Indian & Global Environment Section

So,prepare for these papers.

Application Procedure :-

1) Online :- You have to Register online at website www.aima-ind.org/matsep10 with Credit Card payment.

2) Offline :- You can obtain form against cash payment of Rs 1200/- from Bank of Baroda branches.

Forms generally available in the month of August every year.

All India Management Association has announced the exam dates for Management Aptitude Test (MAT), which will be conducted in May 2012. The MAT paper based test will be held on Sunday, May 06, 2012 and computer test will be conducted on Saturday, May 12, 2012 .

All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), New Delhi conducts the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) as the National Entrance Test for admission to MBA and equivalent programs of the various participating institutes.

MAT May 2012 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have completed graduation in any discipline from any recognized university or equivalent recognized degree with 50% aggregate marks.
Application Procedure for MAT May 2012

Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to apply:
• Obtain form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centers of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi.
• Obtain crossed demand draft of Rs 1200/- in favor of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any bank. Register online at website www.aima-ind.org/matmay12 alongwith the DD details.
• Register online at website link www.aima-ind.org/matmay12 with credit card payment.
