Re: It is necessary to write EMCET for learning engineering?
EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted for giving admissions into engineering/ agriculture/ medicine courses. So, if you want to get admission into engineering course you need to attend and qualify in the exam.
There is an option i.e., direct admission/ management quota. In direct admission the colleges will give admission based on your performance in the previous year and based on your performance your fee structure varies. There are many options other than engineering which are mentioned below. - Arts & humanities - Architecture - Merchant navy - Pilot - B.Sc - National Defence Service - Railway exam - BBA |

Re: It is necessary to write EMCET for learning engineering?
The full form of EAMCET is Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Test.
It is mandatory if you want to pursue Bachelor's degree in engineering from a government college of Andhra Pradesh. It is state level engineering entrance exam. Without this exam, you will get admission in private colleges. Private engineering colleges take admission on basis of marks in PCM. You can apply for Joint Entrance Examination to get admission in top engineering colleges of India like NITs and IITs. |

Re: It is necessary to write EMCET for learning engineering?
It is EAMCET not EMCET. EAMCET stands for Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance test. However, now admission in medical colleges is based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test scorecard. But admission in agriculture and engineering college is done on basis of rank of EAMCET.
EAMCET is conducted by State Government of Andhra Pradesh for admission of candidates in agriculture and engineering college. Without this entrance exam, you can not get admission in government engineering colleges. So, it is mandatory for candidates who want to pursue Bachelor's degree in engineering from state government engineering college. |

Re: It is necessary to write EMCET for learning engineering?
To get admission for pursuing Engineering course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCM stream from a Government recognised board. You need to appear in National or State or University level entrance examinations like JEE, EAMCET, KCET, etc.,. You can also get admission in Engineering course through Management quota without writing EAMCET examination.

Re: It is necessary to write EMCET for learning engineering?
First thing I would like to let you know that you have misspell EAMCET as EMCET. Further for your information I would like to let you know that EAMCET refers to Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test and same is held for admission in undergraduate technical and agricultural courses in the government colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Now as far as you are concerned about pursuing B.Tech degree course to become engineer without appearing in EAMCET then I would like to let you know that if you not appear in EAMCET it would become difficult for you to get admission in good colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to pursue B.tech degree course. Another option of getting admission in top government and private engineering college of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is through JEE ( Joint Entrance Examination ). Therefore to get admission in top colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to have better job placement options you must appear and try to qualify EAMCET and JEE. |

Re: It is necessary to write EMCET for learning engineering?
It is not possible to get admission for without giving any Entrance Exam.
It is mandatory that all the candidates should give any of the Engineering Entrance Exam and depending upon the rank they secure in the Entrance Exam, they will get the admission in the respective college. There would national level Entrance Exam like JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. In addition, there would be state level Entrance Exams like AP EAMCET Telangana EAMCET Even if you would like to get admission in Deemed Universities or Autonomous colleges also, they will consider the score in these Entrance Exams. Otherwise they would conduct their own Entrance Exam. But you don't need to worry much for getting admission to Engineering course. Now a days, there are so many new colleges emerged. Irrespective of your rank in the Entrance Exam, you will get admission for sure. Because the number of Engineering seats are more than the number of students who are joining the course. If you are pursuing your 12th standard in MPC group, I would suggest you to start the preparation now itself for the Entrance Exam. There would be special coaching for the Entrance Exam in the college itself in most of the colleges. If such facility is not there, I would suggest you to join in a outside Coaching Institute. The rank you score in the Entrance Exam plays an important role. The better rank you secure, the better college you will get there by you can gain strong subject knowledge. |
