hi i want information abut mpsc exams for drug inspector,after b pharmacy course.

The MPSC exam is conducted for candidates who aspire to join the state government service. This exam is conducted for various posts. There is both prelims which consists of questions from Gk, maths, physics, botany etc. and main exam which consists of english, marathi, general studies which are compulsory. The main exam will also have questions from list of optional subjects which you can choose from.

What is the date of examination, I have completed BSC( Chemistry ) but i dont have any experience in food inspection.is it ok that i can apply for it

(A)MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission.



(B)MPSC conducts exams for various Cadres of Officers in the Maharashtra State Services.There are basically 3 classes of Cadres:

-Class I.
-Class II.
-Class III.




(C)For each of the above classes there are different Eligibility criteria.






(D)Eligibility criteria for MPSC Class I and Class II Officer exams:

-Age Requirements:

>> For OBC:35 years.
>>For SC/ST/NT:38 years.
>>For Open Category:33 years.





(E)Educational Requirements:

You must be a Graduate.




(F)Eligibility criteria for MPSC PSI/STI/Assistant Exams.

Age requirements:

>>For OBC:35 years
>>For SC/ST/NT:38years.
>>For Open Category:33 years/For PSI exam:28 years.

(F)Educational requirements:

You must be a Graduate.

Examination Scheme:

Each of the above exams,will be having two exams:

-MPSC Prelims exams.
-MPSC Main exams.

After clearing the MPSC Prelims exams,only then you will be eligible to appear for MPSC Main exams
