I have completed MCA from gujarat. Which exam is better for lecturur... net/ slet?
and aslo give me sylebus of slet for gujarat state and exam date for it. And how many times it will be taken in 1 year?

NET is National Eligibility Test for Lecturership & Junior Research Fellowship while SLET is for State Level Eligibility Test for Lecturership.

Comparatively the paper of SLET is easier than NET as its state level. You can opt for both of them.

In case of GSLET exam, it is held every 2 years. It was held in 2010, so now will be held in next year 2012.

NET is held every year. Application forms are already out.

Give me a some information about GSLET exam 2011, about application form, Fees of Application, process of Application, Requirement of Application, and last date of above information.

Presently, SET is being conducted in the following states-

1. Maharashtra & Goa
2. Tamil Nadu (under consideration as on 14-07-2005)
3. Madhya Pradesh
4. Andhra Pradesh
5. Himachal Pradesh
6. Jammu & Kashmir
7. Rajasthan
8. West Bengal

UGC conducts NET twice a year, i.e., in the months of June and December
