NIOS Board 10th standard marksheet is accepted for ECNR or not?
Whether NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) 10 standard mark sheet is accepted for Emigration Check Not Required(ECNR) Stamp or not? Please, clarify.

NIOS stands for National Institute of Open Schooling.
It is a central government recognized board and enjoys approval of Ministry of Human Resource and Development for secondary and senior secondary courses. So, NIOS board 10th marksheet is acceptable for ECNR category stamp for issuing passports. |

The acronym NIOS stands for National Institute of Open Schooling.
The marksheet obtained from NIOS board is accepted for Emigration Check Not required stamp. NIOS is central government approved body. Secondary and higher secondary board marksheets of NIOS is valid for any higher study course or any other matters. |
