sir,
i am in my last sem for bca from sikkim manipal university distance learning , it will finished in july 2010, my percentage upto 5th sem is 83%, 66% in 10+2 science steam. whether i can give entrance for nitcet for mca 2010 which will be held on may 2010, if so then plz, send sample question asked in last few exam for the same. is there any seat reserved for the student from manipur state. hw much mark i need to score in the entrance to be selected .

you are eligible for the exam,but i am sorry there is no special reservation for manipur state students,if you belong to sc/st category then you do have reservation.

the test consists of 120 question to be answered in 2 hours,
it consists of mathematics.logical and analytical reasoning,computrer awereness and general english,and yes you are elegible for the exam

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5/10 CGPA in 12th as well as Graduation. For SC/ST candidates they should have got atleast 55% aggregate of 6/10 CGPA. Candidates should also have studied Maths/Statistics/Business Maths in Graduation as well as 12th.

yes you are eligible because for beening eligible you need to be

Indian Nationals having minimum 60% marks (6.5/10 CGPA) in each of the examinations of
(i) 12th level and
(ii) Bachelor’s Degree of Full Time 3 year duration from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics as one of the subjects in any one semester/year in all the above

The SC/ST candidates with minimum 55% marks (6.0/10 CGPA) are eligible. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for NIMCET09. Such candidates shall have to furnish the proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria of NIMCET09 preferably at the time of Counselling/Admission but not later than 31st July, 2009, failing which, their admission may be cancelled by the respective NITs. The State of Eligibility is the state from where the candidate passed/appeared for graduation.
