If you are interested to pursue Master of Science in physics then you must have completed your graduation with the physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to the candidates of reserved categories.
If you want to pursue it from government institute then you have to qualify the entrance exam that is conducted by the state university and more over if you get admission then I have to study physics only.

As you are going to pursue Master of Science in physics so in that case you have to study only physics and its related subjects.

But if you want to appear in the entrance exam of the government institute then it may be possible that you will be appearing for entrance exam where are the questions can be related to your maths or chemistry because you have studied mathematics and Chemistry in your graduation.

So I would like to suggest you to prepare for three of the exams.

For M.Sc in physics, student must have to qualify with minimum 50% aggregate in degree course from recognized university.

It is two years degree course and there is no need to study chemistry as your area of work is physics it mainly depends on principles and then its application. Hence, students need to learn mathematics and physics both.

As M.Sc. in physics graduate, you can work as lab assistant, work as scientist in various government companies , work as teacher, etc.
