M.Tech is the Master of Technology. Yes, part time M.Tech is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education in some engineering colleges of India.

Engineering colleges are only approved by the AICTE but the university under which the university lies must be approved by the UGC.

Benefits of Part time M.Tech:

You can pursue your master's degree along with job or other stuffs which you do in regular mode.
