Can i write the exam in my 6th sem of pharm.D and what does a drug inspector have to do? Will there be any training? Can i write the exam for drug inspector in my pharm D 6th sem?

The drug inspector exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission and if you wish to sit for this exam then the following eligibility criteria needs to be satisfied:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

• To give this exam you need to have a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences or medicine with specialization in clinical pharmacology or microbiology from a recognized university
• The lower age limit for this exam is 25 years and the upper age limit is 35 years.
• There is relaxation for the reserved category candidates. SC/ST candidates are given 5 years relaxation. OBC's are given three years of relaxation and PWD candidates a total of 10 years age relaxation.

P.S.:- You should have a minimum of 18 months experience in the manufacturing field.

Exam Pattern:-

There will be two papers and total marks allotted for the exam is 200. You will be given two hours to complete the exam. The first paper will have questions on pharmacy and the second paper will have general knowledge questions.

Is I am directly write UPSC exams after completion of my PharmD course.Is any need of experience there??
