i will try to maintain the same.

what physical requirements like height and weight are required to be police sub-inspectar.?

SI is a post who is next to the post of inspector.The aspirant need to qualify for the physical test in order to get into the post.
The various physical test which aspirant must satisfy are
1.CHEST
160cm with a expansion of 5cm
2.a sprint of 100 metre running in 16 seconds.
3.a running of 1.6Km in 6.5 minutes
4.short put 4.5metre in 3 chance
5.long jump 3.65 metre in 3chance
6.high jump 1.2 metre in 3 chance.
aspirant need to complete the initial barrier which include
written exam

3.a running of 800m in 4.0 minutes
4.short put 4.5metre in 3 chance
5.long jump 2.7 metre in 3chance
6.high jump .9 metre in 3 chance.
7.HEIGHT -157cm
aspirant need to complete the initial barrier which include
written exam

Physical Standards for SI :


Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to the regulation.

1:Height-

Minimum height for the Male 165 cm &
for ST 160 cm,for the SC/ OBC,is not

Minimum height for the Female 150 cm &
for ST 145 cm,for the SC/ OBC,is not

2:Chest-

for male minimum 84 cm. expansion 5 cm.
for female minimum 79 cm. expansion 5 cm.

3:Eye Sight-

6/6 or 6/9 distant vision.
J1 for near vision

Number of Attempts:

Every candidate appearing at the Civil Services Examination shall be permitted four attempts at the examination.

this restriction will not apply in the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST), Other Backward Classes(OBC)

Physically Handicapped(PH) candidates who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
