Possibility to secure 5th standard admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for 4th CBSE student?
Hi everyone, I want to admit my son is Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for 5th standard. I would like to know that is it possible for him as he is in 4th standard right now from CBSE Board to secure admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya?

There is no entrance examination for admission in Std Vth in Jawahar Navodaya Vidayalya.
The examination is conducted for admission in std 6th. So, you will become eligible to appear in examination after std 5th. Candidates also have to appear and qualify in entrance examination. |

There are entrance exams conducted for admission in 6th and 9th standard.
Your son can not get admission in 5th standard. He should prepare for entrance exam of 6th standard. Depending upon performance, he can get admission in 6th standard. |

Admissions in JNV i.e. Jawahar Navodaya schools are done only after vacancies of these schools are released.
To fill this, they conduct examinations or entrance tests. If your ward qualifies this entrance test, then he/she can get admission to that standard.
