No, There is No chance to apply for UPSC Civil services examination to become a IAS Officer, Because the last date to apply for Civil services examination was already completed on 21/March/2011.

You have to registered for Civil services examination before 21st March.

So, You have missed the chance in this year, So please dont worry, You can apply for This examination next year. So please wait for the notification, when the notification was declared, It will be updated in the official website OR in the employment Newspaper.

The Notification was generally published in the moth of february every year.

So, If your age should between 21 to 30 years, then you are eligible to apply for Civil services examination to become a IAS officer.

UPSC Civil services examination Eligiblity -

- Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University.

- Age should between 21 to 30 years.

- Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination.


The Preliminery examination was already completed on 12/June/2011.

And the Main examination was going to be held in 29/Oct/2011.

So, You have missed the chance inn this year, But please dont worry, You can apply for this examination next year. So please visit the official website of UPSC in february month to get the notification of IAS examination.

it z not possible to fill the ias forms now as the last date was 21.03.2011 for the prellmiar exam but u can fill it next year till that u can prepare urself

The last day to submit Both online & Offline forms was 21st March, 2011.
But never mind you can apply for it in next year.
Exam will be on 12th June 2011.
You will be notified about the exam in February most probably.

no , u can not submit that because last date of UPSC had been gone .....
but u will apper on next time

Hello friend,
The first stage of civil service examination has been already conducted on 12th June 2011. Therefore, you will have to apply next year, i.e in the year 2012.
The notification will be published on the official website of UPSC and in India's leading newspapers.
The application form will be available at post offices and head post offices throughout the country.
Apart from this, you may also apply online through www.upsconline.nic.in.
