Previous year question Papers Postal Assistant Exam

For Postal Assistants and Sorting Assistants an examination is conducted by the Department of Postal Govt .

If you have completed 12th standard with above 60% marks then you are eligible for Postal assistant Exam .Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years old.You must know your local language very clearly .

Question are coming from General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Reasoning & Analytical Ability section so prepare well .They conduct also computer typing skill test so be careful on it .

Postal Assistant Salaries:

• Basic Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200/-
• Grade Pay: Rs 2,400 + Admissible allowances

Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

1. The postal assistant or the sorting assistant exam can be given by those candidates who have passed in their higher secondary examination or its equivalent with not less than 60% of marks.
   
2. For the reserved category candidates there is percentage relaxation. At 10+2 level they needs to get 45% of marks. In addition to that you need to have english as one of the subject at 10+2 level.
   
3. Your age should not be less than 18 years when applying for this exam. The upper age limit for general category candidates is 27 years.
   
4. For the reserved category candidates there is age relaxation. It is 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Examination Pattern:-

The exam is an objective type exam where multiple choice questions are asked. It is a 100 marks exam and the paper comprises of four sections mainly A,B,C and D. For each section 25 marks have been allotted.

One advantage which all students have got is there is no negative marking here which means you can answer all the questions and answers to increase your chances of getting high marks.
