Assistant Central Intelligence Officer or ACIO is a Grade C level officer in the Intelligence Bureau.

If you have completed graduation degree then you are applicable for ACIO Exam.Your age should be below 27 years old.Age relaxation provide for reserved category .

Selection Procedure / Pattern:

Selection is done via a Written Test comprising of two papers Written test Time limit: 1 hour 40 Minutes

Paper I:

Paper I is Objective type containing questions on
1. General awareness
2. General knowledge
3. English language
4. Reasoning
5. Mathematical aptitude

Paper II

Descriptive type consisting of:
a. Essay
b. Precis writing

Age Criteria:-

• Minimum age of candidate should be 20 years.

ACIO Stands For Assistant Central Intelligence Officer.

Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (General) Grade II Examination is conducted by the Government of India.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit foe the post is 18yrs & Maximum age is 28yrs.

Age relaxation upto 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC candidates.


Education qualification

Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University.


Examination Fee:

The candidates belonging to Male/General/OBC category are required to pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred Only). All the SC/ST & Female candidates are exempted from payment of Examination fee.
