HCL is one of the leading software company in India and all over the world.
The interview process is easier than other companies.Their placement papers resembles with HP and Wipro.

The pattern of the placement process is as follows:

[1] Written Test
[2] Technical
[3] Personal Interview

The Aspiring minds test for HCL had 4 sections for us.

English: Correct the sentences
Parajumbles
Syllogism
Analogies
Synonyms
Antonyms
Reading Comprehension

Quantitative: Time & Distance/Work
Algebra
Pipes & ciserns
General Math

C programming: General C concepts & some programs were asked where we had to find the error or insert some of the extra lines to make the prog meaningful.

Logical Reasoning: Direction Sense
Blood Relations
Seating arragements
Usual logical questions

There was sectional cut off also so we had to make sure we optimize our performance and do well in all sections.

RS AGARWAL is a must to get through these rounds. Reading newpapers everyday will help clear the english round.

After you clear Written. Technical round would not be so tough. Genaral questions regarding C or C++ may be asked. Just be more attentitive while you hear the question. Answering wrong or just trying is not a problem, But if you hear the question wrong or dont hear it at all the first time, can make the Interviewer a little irritated.

Eligible departments are B-TECH , M-TECH ,MCA ,BCA ,B.SC (IT) , M.SC(IT) etc.If you have experience candidate then you are applicable for direct interview process.

Those candidate have 65% marks through out in career are eligible for HCL.Pending Backlog candidate are not applicable for this process.Maximum one year gap in through out career are applicable.

Selection process for HCL recruitment are Written Test , Technical interview , GD and PI .
