MAT Examination was held 2 times in a year, But you can apply for September MAT Examination, The examination was going to be held on 4/September/2011 and 10/September/2011.

And the Last date of Registration was 12/August/2011.

Syllabus for MAT is as follows

MAT Exam contains 5 sections,Those are as follows

1.Language Comprehension.

2.Mathematical Skills.

3.Data Analysis & Sufficiency.

4.Intelligence& Critical Reasoning.

5.Indian&Global Environment


Total Number of Questions 200.Each section have 40 questions.Time 150 minutes.

MAT Exam conducts four times a year those are February,May,September,December.

Details related to MAT exam

• AIMA (All India Management Association) conducts MAT exam.
• It is an entrance Test for MBA and Allied Programmes of over 160 Business Schools
• Graduate in any discipline & Final year students of Graduate Courses can apply.
• Candidate can apply for both online or offline exam.
• Paper-Pencil Test(offline) will be held on 04 September 2011. The paper-pencil test timing is 10:00 – 1230 hrs.
• Computer Based Test (Online Test) will be held from From 10 September 2011.
  
• Last date for sale & registration of application form is 12 August 2011 (Friday).
• Last date for submission of Application Form (online & offline) at AIMA - 16 August 2011 (Tuesday).

MAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

~Full form of MAT is Management Aptitude Test. This examination is an All India MBA Entrance Exam and the second most popular one after CAT. This exam is conducted by AIMA and you can give this exam for four times a year: February, May, September and December.

~This year's September's exams notification is already out. There is paper based test as well as online based test. You have the option to choose. The paper based test is on 1st September and online based test is on 7th September.

~For giving MAT you need to be a graduate first. You need to get a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.

~The minimum percentage to acquire at graduation level has not been mentioned. Therefore if you have the pass marks then you can give this exam.

~There is no age criteria to abide by and no restriction on the number of permissible attempts as well.

~Although for MAT 40% at grad level is enough but the demand of B-Schools may vary from one another where they might give importance to your grad percentage too.

~For the exam stress on the following areas:- Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.
