MAT Books names and authors names


i want to know that, what books i should follow for preparing myself for mat exams.
kindly suggest me the author of books for each subject of mat. As i have started preparation for the upcoming mat exam that is MAT DECEMBER.

If a person qualifies mat can he will get admission in a reputet college in pune .also ask if he qualifies mat can any type of discount in his fees plz give your vauable suggeston

MAT stands for MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST and this test is conducted for the admission of candidates for the MBA programmes in some of the colleges which accept the MAT score.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS).

AIMA-MAT is conducted 4 times a year: in February, May, September and December.

To be eligible to apply for the MAT exam you must have done graduation or in the final year of graduation in any field from any recognized University.

THE SCHEME OF EXAMINATION IS:

This exam called MAT has 5 Sections:
  1. Quantitative Ability
  2. Reading Comprehension
  3. Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency
  4. Logical Reasoning
  5. General Knowledge

Total number of questions: 200; 40 in each section and Duration of the MAT: 150 minutes and there is negative marking of 0.25 for the wrong answers and 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

MAT Important Dates:::
  • Date Of the Exam(Paper-Based): 5th February, 2012 (Sunday); 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Date Of the Exam (Computer-Based): 11th February, 2012.
  • Last Date to Apply: 14th January, 2012
