Question paper Pattern/Sections :

The objective test conducted by any bank for Clerks will consist of the following sections -

1) General Awareness – This section intends to test the general knowledge of the candidate & will have questions on India,Politics,Economy,Books & Authors,Dates & Events,Sports,World happenings etc.,

2) General English – This section is to test English knowledge with questions based on - Sentence formation errors,conjunctions,synonyms,antonyms & choose the correct answer type.

3) Quantitative Aptitude – The quantitative aptitude section may not be new to most candidates,since all companies has this test,which measures the accuracy,mental ability & problem solving skills.Quantitative aptitude books by R.S.Agarwal are highly recommended by many.

4) Reasoning Ability – As the name suggests,it basically tests your reasoning ability skills & the fastness in deciding upon the correct answer.This paper is also a common part in most placement exams of companies.

5)Computer knowledge – As most banks have become computerised,knowledge of basic computing & word processing skills is a must.Basic questions on the working of computers,terms used,Internet,Email,Microsoft Office would be asked.
