CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC and is conducted every year as CDS I and CDS II.

This exam is conducted to join in defence forces of India such as:

>> Indian Navy

>> Indian Air Force

>> Officer Training Academy

CDSE Exam Details:-

~If you wish to pursue your career in any one of the defense academies in India then you need to give this exam which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. This exam which is conducted for twice a year can be given to enter the following academies: 1) Indian Military Academy, 2) Air Force Academy, 3) Naval Academy and 4) Officer's Training Academy.

~To join Indian Military Academy you need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Your age should be between 19 and 23 years.

~To join the Air Force Academy you need to get a B.Sc degree with physics or mathematics or a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology. Your age should be between 19 and 23 years.

~To join the Naval Academy you need to have a B.E./B.Tech degree in engineering or technology or a bachelor's degree in science with physics or mathematics. Your age should vary between 19 and 22 years.

~To join the Officer's Training Academy you need to complete your graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Your age should be between 19 and 25 years.

~You need to cross the following hurdles or stages to finally get selected. The three stages are as follows: Written Examination, Personal Interview and Physical Fitness Test by SSB.
