sr i might be scoring around 49 marks ... so do i have a probablity of iit's .. and if nt so wht abt niit's ???

you shouldn't think about getting IITs and NITs....this is a very low score. for IIT and AIEEE minimum marks required for getting eligible is 60% aggregate. however you have given incomplete information. please give the complete information so that we can help you in a better way.

i have got 29.67 marks in gate 2012 CS with rank 27273. i am belong from SC category.

dear friend.
after scoring 49marks there is no chance of getting any iits belonging to any category.
to get admission into nits you have to appeared into aieee, if you have scored a very good marks and your rank is under 20000 then only you can get an opportunity to get admission into nits.

You are not clear with you question.
If you are talking about getting into engineering after IIT
with 49, you wont even qualify for preparatory course.
I would advise you to kindly appear for JEE next year.

If you are talking about getting into IIT after GATE
49 is decent marks, you can try for IIT and NIT both. Again it depends on your branch and highest marks in your branch.
