It is one of the most exciting branches of engineering. Architecture deals with the planning, designing and structure of building. The main objective of this course is to produce graduated having high caliber in any one of the architectural engineering. The curse mainly focuses on different aspects like Planning, Architecture, Building Technology and Management. It is five year undergraduate program. This program is available in many govt. colleges and private institutions.

This course is very popular among the youngsters as it is a creative type of job. One with a creative mind has a very good future. Many students choose this course only for the future prospect. It is also due to because this time of urbanization, there is so much demand of graduates with Bachelor of Architecture.

The amount of fees charged is much lower in the govt. colleges than it is actually in private colleges. It varies from college to college. It is as much as low to Rs. 25000 in some govt. colleges and it is as much as high to Rs. 88000 in some other private architecture colleges. Few famous and renowned colleges from where one can pursue this course are Anna University, Babu Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology and Management, Sathyabama University, Jadavpur University, NIT, IIT and many more.  The fee structure of NIT is about Rs. 25000 per semester, where as it about 88000 for the same in Babu Banarasi Das National Institute. IIT charges about Rs. 30000 for this course.

There is scheme of fees relaxation in some colleges like NIT, IIT and Jadavpur University. It goes down to about 6000 in IIT. In some private colleges scholarship is offered to the students having merit. However, seats are reserved for some lower caste and SC and ST students in some other private colleges at the time of admission.
