Your age must in between 21 to 30 yrs. you have an four year degree .you can apply even in the fourth year of graduation .you can download forms from the official website.

I am providing you the overview of IES exam, so that you will be easy for you to get some knowledge about IES exam. If you still persist with any doubt then don't worry we are here ... IES exam is conducted By UPSC Government of India. Every year it is having Exam once in a year. Eligibility & age limits:- Any Graduate Can write IES i.e Indian Engineering Services and For writing the only criteria you must satisfy is you should be between 21 years of Age to 30 years of Age. And how many times you can Write the IES. They are It seems it is relaxed for reserved categories..... And for OBC it is 7 times. And for SC/ST it is 9 times. But A Gen category can attempt only 4 times. How to apply for IES ?? Check or Keep tracking upsc.gov.in site for Notification because this site has full information regarding all the upsc Exam On surveying IES is having Notification period in the month of JAN-Feb. you will be eligible from next year.....
because you are in 3rd year. and according to the eligibility criteria, you have to be in your final year or must have completed your B.tech under any recognized university. so you are not eligible this year...... |

UPSC conducts IES every year and it is considered to be most prestigeous for engineering aspirants.
Important Dates for IES 2011 : Date of Notification:8 Jan 2011 Last Date of Application :14 Feb 2011 Date of Exam:14 May 2011 Age Limit:21-30 yrs. as on 1/8/2011 Academic Qualifications: A degree in engg. from a recognized university or equivalent. M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication,Electronics,Radio Physics or Radio Engg. as special subjects acceptable for certain posts only. |

IES exam is conducted By UPSC Government of India. As you are in 3rd year you aren't eligible but you can go for the preparation and apply for it next year and also after completing your graduation. Eligiblity: You must have a graduate degree from any of the recognised university to get eligible for the exam. Graduate with any of the stream will be eligible.
Procedure of application: IAS examination is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commition), one can apply for the exam by submitting application form. |

IES (Indian Engineering Services ) exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission ) to recruit engineers for Government of India's organizations.
The eligibility criteria in order to appear for the exam is as follows Age criteria : One should be in the age group of 21- 30 years ( For General category) For the candidates of OBC, the maximum age limit is 33 years For the candidates of ST/SC, the maximum age limit is 35 years. For getting selected in the IES exam you must at first fulfill the eligibility criteria which is as follows:
Academic Eligibility: You must be a graduate in Engineering from a recognized university. Final year students can also apply. Age Eligibility: You need to be between 21 years to 30 years on the 1st August of the year of examination. But as you are a 3rd year engineering student you are not eligible to appear in the IES exam. Well since you are an IES exam aspirant, you would definitely wish to know when the IES exam notification comes out. UPSC conducts IES examination every year in the 1st/2nd Saturday of June, notification for which comes out in the 1st/2nd Saturday of January month. |
