sir im doing b.tech 2nd year in ece from punjab technical university.punjab
sir plz tell me what to do after my b.tech
is their any hope for my better future
all says that PTU is a bad university....
what should i do....???

Who said its bad? PTU is considered as one of the best colleges in India. You must be proud of your university instead of being ashamed

The placements of PTU are always great and consistent. This was told to me by a PTU alumni so you should not worry about your future as its already secure in safe hands of PTU

no friend PTU is not bad university its result and placement is alway high and also you will get placement in good company if you will maintan your b.tech % above 65% dont worry it is good enogh

What you have heard so far about the PTU is the comparison of the PTU with PU ie Panjab technical university with panjab university. Nobody wants to take admission in PTU jalandhar having a good option of PU, chandigarh.
But since you have already chosen PTU for your graduation , then you have to persue it. PTU is not a very old university, it established in 1997, but PU was established years ago, as I think you know , our PM has also done their PG from PU.
However, rank wise PTU is still better than other new colleges . You have to emphasis on studies in engineering.

no ptu is not bad unversity. if you are thinking it is bad because it is a state unversity you are totally wrong before thinking that you will have to think that thereare many state university in india and ptu is not only one. well you may have problem with the placement in national companies because they generally prefers nit's or iits but u will get a good job. it is advisible that you prepare for various psu or government jobs because they not see the college from where u take degrree they only test your abilty and knowledge if you have it no one can stop you. you may also try for gate or cat. it also advisible that you join defence services

I am student of ptu.i am not satisfied by examination because in some places cheating occurs.so sir please tell me what is the reason behind this?how will you stop this because due to
cheating my result is not come according to my preparation.

No.., in fact PTU i s a very good University, it is considered as one of the best institutes in India.
this is a wrong information about PTU, if are going tojoin PTU then don't worry and go for it..

PTU is one of the best university in india specially for MBA.It has good system of education with good placement...

i can't said it bad but the placement is almost average coz there are many colleges under PTU so companies are less and colleges are more so its difficult to get job

Why you are worring?? Everyone says PTU is a very good university. University is nothing to do. If you are a good student then you will get job easily. Dont blame university. University becomes good when a student gives excellent result.

PTU is not a bad university fo BTech, everybody is saying this coz nobody knows about ptu

No.univercity is not bad.other go and see the univercity atmosphere and check it

dont consider more about university if u have capability to do something different then, u will get success definitely.just prepare yourself for various entrance exams nd interview.

One thing i would suggest you is dont believe all the rumours. PTu- panjab technical university is a good university.

Anyway you may take it also as average university but not bad university. Wherever you are pursuing that does not matter much. How much knowledge you gained through that will matter a lot.

Instead of doing B.Tech from PTU,It is better to do arts from Punjab University.Checking standards are pathetic.Faculty Pathetic.everything sucks....Money minting machines...

No, friend Panjab Technical University(PTU) is a good University in india. It has a good placement cell. After completing the BE from this university you will get surely a good job in a big company. So don't worry it is the one of the best University of india.

i want to ask that if i should change the university.....because i recently got the result...and it was shocking....out of five subjects i am passed in 4 and failed in chemistry ,which i was thinking not to be.......!!

excuse to all, if p.t.u is good university so y are writttn so many places tht ptu studnts are not allowed mostly in banglore. if u dnt belive that u can c in metro cities seriously boss its ane of the bad university.

Thats true that ptu students are not entertained in MNCs and specially in merto cities. So be careful while going with PTU.

But since you have already chosen PTU for your graduation , then you have to persue it.

i heard PTU student are not allowed in banglore for placement . Currently i am pursuing my b.tech degree from PTU in Punjab and i am worry about my future, please sir suggest me what to do, iam international students without getting more information from this university i got admission.Now me feeling bad because i heard that in some college cheeting occurs that decrease the value of student i am getting good result according to my preparation.plz sir tell me the truth.....

No way, PTU is not a bad university. it is considered one of the best university in punjab and india.
there are some anonymous fact , due to which it is one time called bad university, but now time changes. it is regarded as one of the best university in india.
in ptu future is not bad , it is same as in other best university.don't thinks so, be +ve not -ve.

PTU is not a bad university , only the people had spread rumours that it's a bad university, and moreover campus placement depends upon the college in which you are studying and it has no concern with the university

sir I have done my bca from ptu,on september 2012 I gave my last 6th sem exam,now I m persuing mca from another university in a provisional admission,till yet my ptu last sem result is not out,I am so worried,my mind is not working,please help me ,I was distance education student under ptu.
