Qualification required to become a CID Officer in Sri Lanka:-

You must be a citizen of Sri Lanka, to become a CID officer in recognise University or Institute and should have qualified the entrance exam to get eligible for CID officer.

Age limit is between 21 to 27 years.

The selection process is based on written exam and personal interview.

Education qualification:-
To become a CID officer in Sri Lanka, Candidate should have completed graduation degree form a recognised University or institute and should have qualified the entrance exam to get eligible for CID officer.

Age limit:-
Age limit is between 21 to 27 years.

Nationality:-
You must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.

The selection process:-
The selection process is based on written exam and personal interview accompanied by physical test.

Height:-
For men height should be 165 cms.
For women it's 150 cms.

The basic eligibility criteria for CID officer in Sri Lanka:-

The candidate must have a bachelor's or graduation degree from any recognised university. Some of the Universities in India provide Criminal Justice and Criminology at graduation level to get enroll in CID. You can get enrolled for such courses.

The minimum qualification required for a candidate to join as an Assistant Inspector Assistant at the CID is a Class 12 pass. If one aspires to join as a sub-inspector, he should have graduated. Graduation is also the requirement of the position of the agent.

The qualification that is required to become a CID officer in Sri Lanka is stated below.

1. To qualify for the position of CID officer in Sri Lanka, a candidate must have earned a graduate degree from a reputable university or institute and pass the qualifying exam.

2. To be a CID Officer in Sri Lanka, a candidate must be a citizen of that country.
