Hi i written gate 2011 exam ece, if i got 40 marks what will be the rank. What will be the position. Can i get Nits .please anyone give me the answer

This year(2011) paper of ece was tough than previous year question, so cut-off should be low(previous year it was 25). if you are getting 40 marks then your rank should lie under 1000. you can definitely get good nits and can also take admission in newly formed iits.

Yes buddy you can. If you score 40 in Gate(ece) your rank will be between 1500-5000. That means you have sufficient chance to get it.

Actually you are asking a question that is totally based on your assumption.So its better to wait & let the result comes.Then only the exact marks & ranks will be estimated to get admission in NITs.And all these admissions are also based on the no: of seats available in the institutes.You can contact to the different NIts after getting your results.Some of them are-

ur rank should be 1600 to 1700 and u will get admission in nit's

around 2000 rank ..yup ofcourse you will get NIT's no need to worry most probably you will get IIT Roorkee or IT BHU

Well,it is a difficult question but anyway getting 40+ is not bad,you will get a good rank and there is chance that you may get into NITs.

Getting 40 out of 100 for this GATE exam is not at all bad and there is also a chance that you may get into IITs and NITs.

So lets think for the best case and keep up the positive light in you and bring out the best in you.

yes you can get a good college but not the best college your marks is sufficient to get NIT

GATE ECE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering course which you have taken up with subject Electronics and Communication. This is one of the most tough and reputed examinations in our country.

It is aimed at the M.Tech admissions and the PSU Recruitment's. So a large number of students desire to take up this course.

In this link, you would get an estimate of the rank that you can get with the score that you have been able to get. Approximately your rank would be within 2000-2500.
With this rank, I am really sorry to say that you CANNOT get any PSU calls or any IIT M.Tech. But year, since you are a girl so you may get some of the lower rank NIT's and with lower preferred courses.

However there are some of the top private colleges also which you can look for but you may have to appear for an interview, or a written test for it. Also some give direct admissions. So it all depends on the counselling.
