What's qualification require for MPSC exam

Graduation is the main qualification necessary to attend MPSC exam. You can take up any subjects to do graduation but only from a recognized institute. Minimum age limit for the same is 21 years. 30 years is the higher age limit to attend this exam. Age relaxation is provided to reserved categories. You will have to clear written exam first so as to attend personal interview too.

Stages of MPSC Exam

Prelims - Objective Type Paper
General Studies paper - 300 Marks (0.25 negative marking)
Main Exam -
Objective Type (0.25 negative marking)

- Languages - 200 Marks
- English - 70 Marks
- Marathi - 130 Marks
Paper II
GS - 200 marks
General Studies - 130 marks
Intelligence Test - 70 marks

Application Procedure of MPSC exam

The Price of Application Form along with Prospectus is Rs.100/-. The Application Form and the Prospectus is obtainable from the designated Post Offices. The details regarding the location of the Post offices where the Application Forms and prospectus can be obtained could be viewed on the MPSC website. The fee for the open category is Rs 400/- and for the OBC candidates it is Rs.200/-. The fees should be paid in the Post Office by cash along with the application.

Following is the eligibility criteria for applying in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission:
Academic: Degree in Science/Engineering. Transport Officer: Degree. Adequate knowledge of Marathi will be preferred

Age: 19-28 years. Relaxable upto 33 years for BC candidates

Physical:

Maharashtra State Service Exam (MPSC)

Eligibility Criteria:
The minimum and the maximum age limit specified by the Maharashtra Public service commission for these posts would vary between 19 to 33 years. There will be the relaxation in the upper age limit of reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government.

The candidate applying for all these post must possess the degree in any discipline from any recognized University. The applicant along with the degree must have knowledge of Marathi.
