Selection procedure : Through a series of physical ability tests followed by a written test. Physical tests include : *. A initial 5 kilometer run which should be completed in 25 minutes (* impossible without practice) *. A 100 meter sprint which should be completed in 15 seconds. (* easy) *. A long jump in which a candidate should jump a distance of 3.80 meters (* easy) *. A shot put throw which should be thrown a distance of 5.60 meters (* practice makes it easy) *. A high jump in which a jump of 1.2 meters is required (* practice) and *. An 800 meter run which should be completed in 170seconds (* easy). * According to me. Written test for SI of police consists of 4 papers. Paper 1: English (Descriptive) : 50 questions, 100 mar Paper 2: Arithmetic, test of reasoning, Mental ability. : 200 marks Paper 3: General studies : 200 mark |

for the post of SUB-INSPECTOR(SI) you must have to clear the public service commission exam, it is the state level examination. for appear in this exam you must have the degree in any stream from a recognized college. the age limit for this exam is 21-30. there are 5 years of relaxation are given to SC\ST candidates. physical standard- . A initial 5 kilometer run which should be completed in 25 minutes . A 100 meter sprint which should be completed in 15 seconds. . A long jump in which a candidate should jump a distance of 3.80 meters . A shot put throw which should be thrown a distance of 5.60 meters . Andhra Pradesh state police has announced a recruitment notification to recruit 1293 candidates as sub-inspectors of police.
The category wise distribution is 1100 stipend cadet trainee (SCT) SI of police (civil) (males), 169 SCT reserve SI of police (AR)( males) and 24 SCT reserve SI of police (APSP)(males). Applications are invited from eligible candidates from February 25 to march 13 Applications will be issued from February 16 to march 13. Eligibility: Candidates having a degree from any recognized university can apply for the post of sub-inspector of police. Selection procedure: Through a series of physical ability tests followed by a written test. Physical tests include: A initial 5 kilometer run which should be completed in 25 minutes (* impossible without practice) A 100 meter sprint which should be completed in 15 seconds. Direct entry at the level of ASI/SI/Inspector is also through a competitive examination held by the state Public Service Commission every year as part of the state Civil Services Exams. The NGOs, thus appointed undergo a basic training of 9 months duration . Further information can be obtained from the advertisements of Public Service Commission. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC - according to the existing State Govt. Policy The eligibility is Graduation in any stream. |

hello friend,
The selection process of Sub inspector of police conducted by public service commission.In these minimum graduates are allowed. the selection process for SI is first you can apply for the SI post with application that was released by the public commission service and then the selection process as followes. --First 5k run should be conducted which should be completed in 25 minutes(hear practice is important) ---next 100m sprint completed in 25 sec it is also easy --long jump with 3.8meters its also easy ---short put throw in 5.8 m it also easy by pracice --High jump is required 1.2m the above all are the physical test and then written test is conducted in the written test total 200marks it contains four sections paper1:Telugu:50 questions 100 marks paper2:English :50 questions 100 marks paper3: reasoning and arithmetic,Mental ability:200marks paper 4:General studies:200 marks hear the two papers are not considered for the merit list those are Telugu and English. for BC/SC/ST the qualification for the test is 40,35,30 marks . all the best |

Public Service Commission(PSC) coducts SI tests every year.In this test first there will be an objective written test and follows the physical test and interview for those who qualifies for the objective test. Objective test consists of queries regarding numerical,reasoning,non verbal reasoning,english,mathematics and current affairs. Notifications will be published by PSC.. Surely you can become an SI with some hardwork.. All the best.. Thank you. |

SELECTION PROCESS: 1.Preliminary test. 2.Mains exams 3.Physical fitness. 4.Certificate verification. There is a relaxation in marks and age for sc/st candidates. The written test consists of aptitude and reasoning questions,general awareness questions and general english questions. |

AS you are interested for SI .......... The eligibility criteria are as follows....... Candidates interested to apply for the post of Sub-Inspector in CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF through Staff Selection Commission should at least have a Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized University or equivalent. Besides this, they should have attained a minimum age of 20 years and should not be more than 25 years as on 16 March 2012. Age Limit- Your age should be between 20 to 25 years on the day of examination. Age Relaxation- There is an age relaxation of - 3 years for OBC reserved category candidates. 5 years for SC/ST reserved category candidates. 5 years for candidates who have achieved distinction in sports. Education Qualification- You should have a bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university. There is no percentage cut-off as such. Physical Standards- minimum height needed-170cms chest size should be 81cms before expansion and minimum 85cms after full expansion. |
