I want to become an Engineering Professor in government colleges in Tamil Nadu. So, what are the minimum educational requirements for this? Do I need any practical exposure as well?

The minimum educational qualification required to become a Engineering professor is that:-
:-you should have B.tech or B.E degree with minimum 60% marks.
:- Masters degree in engineering with minimum 55% marks.

You would need to qualify NET examination to pursue Ph.d

If there would be vacancies then it would be published in the leading news papers, you can fill the form and can apply for the post of Assistant Professor.
