Therefore prepare well.You can even purchase mental ability books like TMH etc

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE)

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level scholarship program in India to identify and nurture talented students. The scheme is open to students of Indian nationality.

Only students studying in Class VIII are eligible to appear for the selection process.

It consist of two stages:

Part-I:Mental Ability Test (MAT), and

Part-II: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)(with questions on history, civics, geography, rarely economics, maths, physics, chemistry and biology.)

It is usually conducted on 2nd Sunday in May. For NTSE 2011, National Level Exam will be conducted on 8th May 2011.

Here i have attached sample paper of NTSE. Please go through it and prepare well.

I have attached a few sample papers of NTSE along with this post..

Go through them and i hope they help you crack the exam..

Observe the pattern and the level of the questions asked and prepare accordingly..

Candidates will be tested in two parts :-

Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) where your aptitude skills will be tested..

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) where you will be tested on your knowledge of Science, Maths and Social Science..
