SBI Clerk Exam Details:-
  • If you wish to sit for the SBI Clerk Exam then you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate with not less than 60 percent of marks at 10+2 level.
  • If you have done a diploma degree after giving class 10 board exam even that would be considered only if its not have been done in correspondence. The duration of it should not be less than two years. 60% of marks in this case is also required.
  • After graduation if you choose to apply then you need to secure 40% of marks at UG level.
  • The minimum age limit for giving this exam is 18 years. For general category candidates the upper age limit is 28 years.
  • Age relaxation is applicable for the reserved category candidates.

Examination Pattern:-

In order to get finally selected you need to cross two hurdles mainly. One is the written examination and the other one is the personal interview session. The marks of both the stages of selection will be considered. It is therefore important to score well in both the stages of selection.

Questions that will be asked in the written exam will mainly be objective type questions. The standard of questions wont be that high either. So if you can prepare well the class 11 and 12 syllabus then you stand a good chance of getting selected. Here are the topics which needs to be stressed upon:
  1. General Awareness
  2. General English
  3. Quantitative Aptitude
  4. Reasoning Ability
  5. Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge
