here is a sample paper


There were 5 questions and total marks of 50 to answer in 1 hour.
Write the essays or letters in 150 words.
1. Write a letter to your manager asking for leave to attend a function at your native.
OR
Write a letter to an editor of a newspaper / magazine commenting on his recent report on environment.
OR
Write about a day when everything went wrong.

2. "Banks are money manufacturers". Justify it.
(Forgot the two alternatives)

3. Trading in share market is risky. Write your views in 150 words.

4. There was a paragraph. Question was to rewrite briefly in own words.

5. There was a paragraph. There were 5 questions asked based on the paragraph. Each question was of 2 marks.

Patter of the examination ::

The descriptive paper can be of four types.

Paragraph writing
Point of views and
Letter writing.
Essay writing

The topics on essay writing can be like

your favorite pastime,
discrimination against women
world terrorism,

Paragraph writing will be based on any famous sayings ::

Rome was not built in a day
charity begins at home
How can pollution be decreased?

In point of views type of questions You have to speak in favor and against a particular points.In this the topics are like ::

Democracy and its future in India
is science a curse or boon?
Are we more civilized than our forefathers?
Should love marriages be allowed?

And the letter writing part consists of informal letters, formal letters
,applications and official letters, and business letters.
