Let me tell you first that the SBI PO Notifications for this year has already been released. The exam is going to take place in April 8th and the total vacancy is 1544. The break-up of the vacancy would give you a good idea:-

i) General Candidates: 758
ii) SC Candidates: 225
iii) ST Candidates: 112
iv) OBC Candidates: 405
v) PWD Candidates: 44

To sit for the SBI PO Exam you need to have first division in graduation. The degree can be attained in any discipline from a recognized university. While the general category candidates needs to get 65% of marks, SC/ST/PWD candidates needs to get 60% of marks in aggregate.

You should have good knowledge of how to use a computer. A crash course in computer operation helps. Good proficiency in the local language of the State you are applying is another important criteria to satisfy.

Age should not be less than 21 years and the upper age limit for general category candidates is 30 years. There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

Exam Pattern:-

Reasoning- 75 questions
Quantitative Aptitude- 50 questions
Computer Awareness- 50 questions
General Awareness- 50 questions

Group Discussion and Interview:-

For group discussion there is 20 marks have been allotted and for the interview session 30 marks have been allotted. For work experience you might get an extra 10 marks too. Whatever marks you collect in both the stages gets converted into a marks out of 100 and then the merit list is published.
