MAT stands for Management Admission Test which is an All India entrance exam conducted by the AIMA. It is although not the toughest of all management entrance exams but still regarded decent when it comes to MBA admissions to some reasonable colleges across India.

MAT is conducted 4 times in a year starting from February, May, September and December. One may select any of these months for their assessment and give the exam.

The pattern of the exam remains such that you would be required to answer 200 questions in 120 minutes (2 hours) and also the marking would be relative and ultimately the result would be given out in the form of percentile.

It is not known that there are any scholarships available through MAT or not. This is because MAT is just an exam and it is not a college that can guarantee scholarships. As you would be knowing that scholarships are given by the college and not the body that conducts the examination.

Thus, under such situation what is expected is when you are applying to colleges through the MAT score, read about the scholarship policies of those colleges and apply accordingly. However, it is really bleak chance that ANY college would offer scholarships through MAT score. It would either be hidden in the fees, the actual amount that they intend to charge or scholarships would be denied.

Moreover, scholarships are provided to those who have done exceptionally well such as people scored 99 plus percentile in the MAT exam. Maybe they can expect scholarships but at 80 percentile there is no use of even thinking about scholarships.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
