B.Ed is essential only when you want to go for the teaching field. Of course it is not bad to do your B.Ed. after your MCA. You can do it.

you are in a technical field. You do you want to do B.Ed which is non-technical. Its better to join B.Ed if you are interested in a career as a teacher. At present your highest qualification is Masters/Post Graduate(MCA) then why to pursue B.Ed a bachelors degree. What I do think is that, you may not have any benefits by pursuing B.Ed because, at the time of recruitment your highest qualification will be taken into account/consideration. You have a lot of opportunities with MCA degree. You will get jobs in top MNC's like Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra Satyam, Infotech etc. And if you are not interested in doing a job bright now then go ahead with higher studies in the same field by applying for Doctoral programs. Please, don't divert yourself and your field. All the Best! |
