You have decided a very good career to serve the nations as an engineer. We welcome your this decision. After your B.Tech degree you can join the Air Force technical branch, flying branch. As an Engineer, you can soar into a rewarding and challenging career in the Indian Air Force. You can even join the Technical Branch in your final or pre-final year of engineering through the University Entry Scheme.
The age for the technical branch is 18 year to 28 years and a four year degree qualification and secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together from a recognised university. The age for the flying branch is 18 year to 23 years and candidate should be a graduate ( Three Year Course ) in any discipline from a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) / BE / B Tech( Four Year Course). Final Year students can also apply, provided they don’t have any backlog. |

Hello,
You may get entry in one of the three branches of indian air force- *Flying branch. *Technical branch. *Ground duty branch. After B.tech you will have chance to work in technical branch, via direct entry scheme and university entry scheme. Age limit-18-28yr. For more information you can visit-www.careerairforce.nic.in you can also appear for CDS (combined defence services), conducted by UPSC, twice in a year.CDS 1st in mid february and CDS 2nd in september. for more information you can visit-www.upsc.gov.in ok, best of luck. |
