hi!
Doing short term course in your respective discipline will be an added advantage to you. These courses will help you to get selected in the campusrecruitment process. There are different course that you can do along with your Engineering, some of them are as follows: 1) Six months full-time certificate course in VLSI Design and Embedded System. 2) Diploma in embedded systems design at Centre for Development of Advanced Computing(CDAC), 3) One-year diploma in advanced digital system design 4) Diploma in robotics |

For the mechanical Engineers many courses are available to useful for your campus recruitments. In that some of the courses i would like to mention here CAD/CAM CATIA ANSYS PRO-E MATLAB these are the software courses for the designing purpose or design Engineers. MATLAB is also helpful for your last year project. and also better to learn "c++" course because it is better to learn than "c" course. these are software courses but these may also helpful to you.
