Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
In my view you should mention all your backlogs because if you get a job then you have to show all your documents
It's good to be in no confusion |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
dear friend,
there is no need to mention about the backlogs in resume.it will reflect negativeness about your career.you may be rejected if you mentioned your backlogs. as you know resume is the first medium between you and requiter.so never tell them your negative points in advance. if they asks then you have to mention.at that moment never tell lie. good luck. |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
Hello sir!
Its no need to mention it in resume because that one will effect your chances and moreover they will know whether you mentioned or not. The grade card or the degree that you have has remark over that backlog subject. Dont worry about it. Sometimes they ask you about the backlogs then you have to reveal honestly whatever you got. Its not compulsary to mention but may be you can mention with your special intrest thinking your future. Whatever you do think over mentioning the backlog once again and my suggestion is not to mention that backlog. All the best! |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
There is no need to show back papers in your resume because many companies only see whether you have passed the BTECH exam and what percentage you have scored finally. Only few companies insist on you passing without any back papers and in that case you will anyway skip those companies. So my general feeling is that you should not keep your back papers in a standard resume. Also you have passed it, so it is alright.

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
Hi!
See backlogs are normal in B.Tech so don't get worried about the backlogs. You don't need to mention your backlogs in your CV or resume. It got bad impression on the person of recuitment. So i don't thinks so that you mention your backs as you have cleared all backlogs. In you final degree the backlogs are not mention if you have cleared all the backlogs so no need to mention the backs in resume.ok |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
no,not necessarily/
you need not mention the backlogs because by the time they ask you to submit your certificates you can clear your backlogs in supplementary or other exam and no need of highlighting about, if you have more number of backlogs then you should consider mentioning it |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
dear friend,
As per my knowledge backlog should not be mentioned in resume because is will show your negative points . & after clear of all backlogs even the university also doesn't mention about your previous backlogs, it mention only year of clear the paper. So, you need not to show your backlogs in resume, it will create difficulty for you at the time of interview. good luck. |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
Dear Friend,
I think it will not good if you have backlogs in your study carrier. However,if you have backlogs you should clear it first, then apply for the jobs. As you wanna know ,so according to me mention your backlogs,as because you will submit all the documents after getting jobs. So,it will be better for you. One thing I will say you that most of the MNCs(Multi National Company) such as TCS,Infosys,IBM,HCL,Wipro ,CTS etc are dont want the backlogs. So,try to clear the backlogs and apply, otherwise, you can take job in any small company, then after 2yr-3yr experience you can join the MNCs. Good luck. |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
HI!
In my view you should not mention backlog in your resume because it will give a bad impression to the employer. The HR person spends less than 2 minutes in going through a resume. He is looking for your plus points & a backlog will earn you a minus point. Since you have just 1 backlog & you were able to clear it in the next attempt you can hide it in your resume. When the interviewer will ask you regarding your backlog give him some satisfactory explaination. |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
Are you going to provide semester-wise break-up of your B.Tech marks? If that is so, you do have to mention your backlog. If, however, you choose only to mention the years you have cleared the Board/University Exams, then, there arises no need of doing so. You are hiding nothing, as the year gap will be there to vouch for your honesty.

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
hi friend,
This is not always necessary to show all your sins(backlogs) at the time of writing your CV. It should be avoided since you even havent found any CV showing backlog information. Rest of the things depend upon the company's asking profile. Have two things in mind before applying anywhere: 1. Never ever apply for those companies which already state in their eligibility condition about all clear candidates. 2. Never write backlogs in your CV because rest of the companies do not require this. Frankly saying, you can also apply in category:1 companies, since documents are not always checked . |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
dear friend,
As per my knowledge backlog should be mentioned in resume because is will help u in ur future.suppose if u don't mention backlogs in ur resume & company appointed u.bt when company wants to see ur original documents, then there u may be sacked from ur company.so u must mention about ur backlogs, because they give u a chance to clear ur backlogs.after that u can join ur company.bt if u don't mention about ur backlogs then u may be trouble in false case. so take decision & make ur bright future. good luck. |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
actually if you get one backlog in B.Tech and if you cleared it then there is no problem to get job or other. it does not matter then if you mention it or not. but i think honestly you should mention it. that will be better. but it will not affect you. so do not worry.
all the best. |

No no don't mention Backlogs in the resume.
Resume reflects the qualifications of a candidate physically. So it should be in the positive way. There is no need to mention the backlogs in the resume. Until and unless a recruiter asks regarding the backlogs, don't tell about your backlogs. |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
As we know that the first impression is the best impression.
At the time of interview, firstly you have to submit your Resume. As the first impression will be taken from the Resume,so that Resume should be in a such manner that, the interviewer should be impress with your Resume. So don't mention your backlog detail in the Resume,if you mention you will not get any interview opportunity for the job. There are certain rule's to follow, while preparing the Resume or Curriculum vitae:

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
No its not wise to mention your backlogs in your resume because ultimately you are going to clear those and there will be no records in future.
In case you are applying for any companies check their's eligibility criteria and see which company has already mentioned about having no backlogs(a very few companies do that), don't go for them. Apply for those companies which hire people in bulks and the joining would be a pretty late eg. TCS (even if you have a backlog you can extend your joining date by 1 month and clear all your backlogs and come back). Mentioning backlog in your resume will make a negative impression. First get a job then think of everything else. |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
In my opinion there is no need to mention back log in your resume .
Representing back log may lead to wrong impression to the interviewer. representing your activities your aggr. marks or grade or percent is sufficient. Cover your resume with full confidence. |

Re: Should Backlogs be mentioned in Resume?
Hello.
I will suggest you that do not mention any backlog in resume try to impress them with your technical and communication skills. Because at a certain time limit the company used to see your work experience and communication skills and the way to do the work smartly. The company will not focus on your marks if you will switch from small scale company to big scale company. They will only see your work experience. I hope you got it. |
