Should a student get step marking in Accounts paper under CBSE Board's curriculum?

Sir, if I attempt a 8 marks question in which we have to show the Revaluation Account, Capital Account and Balance Sheet and finally my balance sheet is not tallied then CBSE Board would provide step marking or not and all three accounts answer is wrong then how many marks does board provide to the student? What are the way of step marking and my second question is that if a 4 marks question answer is not correct then how many marks does board grants over the question?

Yes , there is step marking.
In case , you attempted any question and it has some steps.
For every correct step , you will receive 1 or 0.5 mark depending on the overall marks.
Thus in every paper, there is step marking.
It's always advisable to attempt question and try to solve it.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
