CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department. For Sub Inspector level post, you can apply for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate level exam. But for joining CID as officer, you need to apply for Civil Services exam and join Indian Police Services.
The academic qualification required for both exams is bachelor's degree. Bachelor of Science candidates in Mathematics are eligible for both exams. You need to apply and clear all stages of these exams to join CID. The minimum age limit to apply for Civil Services exam is 21 years. |
