To become a Collector you have to qualify civil service exam conducted by UPSC every year.Another name of Collector is IAS officer.
Eligibility--- Candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Candidate age should not less then 21 years and more than 30 years. I think you have to choose subjects like--

# In order to become collector, one has to qualify the Civil Service Examination conducted annually by UPSC.
# There is no any requirement of specific subjects or course or degree. Just required that candidate should possess any recognised bachelor degree. Thereafter one has to appear in civil service examination and try to figure his name in final merit / selection list. # Required educational qualification: * Any bachelor degree from recognised university. * Final year students are also eligible. * Just passing marks in degree required. There is no special college/subject to become a collector.To become a collector you should posses bachelor degree in any stream.then after you can apply for collector.
Qualification - bachelor degree in any descipline Steps to apply - complete your bachelor degree - Apply for CSAT(civil service admission test) & qualify it with good score - now apply for main paper & qualify it & interview with good score. CSAT is conducted by UPSC.collector is the highest official to control the district.
