Epecacuhana, Belladona, Chinchona, Cinnamon, Digitalis, Senna, Alloe, Noxvomica, Opium Alkoloid, Kurchi, Brahmi,

Tulsi, Bael and Ephedra.



UNIT – VI – PHARMACOLOGY & TOXIOLOG.



Introduction and general principle :-



Mode of action, drug receptor interaction, drug antagonist, absorption, distribution, metabilisim and exerition,

rate of administration, Bioavailability, drug dependence and addiction, drug abuse and toxicity, drug adverse

reaction, Drug allergy and Biostatics.



UNIT – VII – HOSPITAL & CLINICAL OPHARMACY –



Handling of prescription, Incompatibility, Storage condition of drug, Clinical Pharmacy and its role in Hospital.

Important Date (Tentative) For Drug Inspector Exam: -

1. Date of Exam = May 01, 2011

2. Sale of application = February 10, 2011

3. Last date for issuing application forms = March 15, 2011

4. Last date for submission of completed application forms = March 31, 2011


The Drug Inspector examination is conducted in two parts i.e.

1. Written Tests = Consisting of 5 papers of 200 marks each.

Paper - I = General Ability includes General English, General Studies, Indian History, Geography. [Objective Type]

Paper - II & III = It includes relevant questions from engineering stream.
[Objective Type]

Paper - IV & V = It includes relevant questions from engineering stream. [Subjective Type]

2. Personality Test = Interview

The drug Inspector examination is conducted State wise by each State's Public Service Commission and it is an exam conducted by the UPSC Board.
As your a B.Pharma student hence you can definitely go through the examination conducted by both the Board's.

WRITTEN (OBJECTIVE TYPE) EXAMINATION -


GENERAL STUDIES & MENTAL ABILITY - 150 Marks with 150 Questions.

SUBJECT (ONE PAPER) - 300 Marks with 150 Questions.

INTERVIEW (ORAL TEST) - 50 Marks.
