IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection which is responsible to conduct exams for the post of Clerk, PO and Specialist officers under 19 public sector banks in India. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA;- *you need to complete your graduation from a recognized university. * You must have 21 years of age and must not be more than 30 years. Upper age Relaxations applicable for SC/ST and OBC categories. * You must be a citizen of India. You need to first understand the structure and pattern of this exam. The exam duration is for 1hr and 45 min. The Exam is divided into the Objective and the Descriptive part. *The Objective part- consists of the topics like Reasoning, General Awareness, English and Professional Knowledge. The Objective part carries 200 marks and each question carries 1 marks and 0.25 marks will be deduced for all the wrong answers. So do not attempt answers which you are not sure of the answer as there is negative marking. *The Descriptive part- consists of 25 marks which consists of an essay which you need to answer in 60 minutes. To prepare for the exam you have to refer lots of Bank PO books and Go through the newspapers daily for current affairs , watch the English news channel's or other Education channel which will improve your knowledge. Try to learn new words daily. for the ibps bank p.o exam you should be well prepared in all the following topics ~~ test of aptitude skills ~~ test of reasoning skills ~~ test of numerical ability ~~ test of general knowledge ~~ test of general english all the topics will carry 50 marks -->> you should be well prepared in all the topics -->> you should have the ability to solve problems in a shortcut manner -->> prepare well all the previous question papers in these days as the competition is getting highr for bank jobs , so, it is good to go for coaching . they will tell you short cut menthods, how to face interview , etc. . . IBPS PO exam is for applicable for all graduation candidates any stream......... Age- 21 to 30 years 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates.... Specially in IBPS Po In below syllabus all question comming :- Aptitude Reasoning General English General Awareness Descriptive type(Essay on one topic) Books for Preparation of PO exam:- Good Luck................ |
