Hi... i got selected in both tcs n infosys. i m in real confusion as to choose wat.. bein an ece student i m not so good in programmin n tat is the reason for my fear to opt infy. but i believe tat i can cope up wit programmin... abt t package: infy gives 1000 more than tcs per month.. can u plz suggest me wat to opt for??? which company gives more career growth n i m also intersted in takin onsite job..

this is very serious matter, but dont worry i will suggest you, go for that company who gives you better salary package with greater facility. infosys is best from my opinion.

You don't need to be scared they have selected you on the basis of your capabilities so they are the best judge of your strengths and weaknesses so first enjoy the thing that you got selected in both the big co.s and now comes the question of selection there's no doubt that both companies are good but let me tell u that these days infosys is more and more engaged in increasing its manpower and not increasing the salaries of its existing employees and now comes in TCS where you will not find that much good infrastructure as infy does but have good earning packages.
But at last the choice is yours take guidance with some infy going and TCS employees and take your decision. ALL THE VERY BEST.

I think both are good,but Infosys take advantage because of its uptodate technology and foreign market hold,so better to go for it.

Please go with the company you will feel comfortable most..

As you know that Infosys is more strict in programming basis than TCS you can realise your strength and weakness better and according to that choose the one you feel right.

There should not be confusion in your mind regarding this...

If you are not good in programming skills then to survive in the software industry you must make your knowledge good in this sector..

Otherwise you will be sacked from any company you join...its not only matter of TCS or Infy.

So it all depends on you whether you can survive yourself or not...Make good skills and join the one you like most.

but if you consider about job stability then TCS is much better than Infosys.

you may will get some extra salary in Infosys than TCS but job pressure is very high in Infosys.

but as you told that you are not a good programmer. so don't worry about it because companies will trained you first then joined.
As per my knowledge the job security of TCS is better than Infosys.

But choice is yours.

so both the companies have good and bad points.

both the companies are very good. don,t get confused. you must join that company in which you are having higher salary. also don,t take tension of the work they will provide you because they will not directly tell you to start the work. firstly they wil tell you how to do the work and then they will set you free.

here is the different factor to decides whether TCS is good or infosys.

there is the different pararmeter for the both company for the employ of his company.

if one company give the better accomodation then other provides the better salary option.

but according to me i will suggest you to go for the infosys becuase it was

seen the record that sacking rate of the infosys is less than that of the TCS,

so we can say the job security is good in case of the infosys.

According to me should not think about how the company is.
they will recruit you as your knowledge,smartness,capabilities,confidence.

However,TCS is better than INFOSYS as TCS offers a secured job & a good salary,if you can not show your performance,they dont sack you quickly,they give you more chances.

But INFOSYS also gives more salary than TCS,but they send you abroad quickly and a afraid of sacking is there .

HI bro....i can understand your situation as i was in same situation last year....
after tonnes of research and confusion i finaaly joined TCS and i feel i made a good decision... TCS provides u better on site oppurchunitines....moreover if u r concerned about salary.... den i will let u no dat infy gives salary according to ur performance in training...so if ur in Performance Level-1 den may be u can get Rs.600-700 xtra dan wat TCS pays ....else infy will pay u less dan TCS....

i will suggest you go in tcs, because tcs is good company for fressors.it will provide you job security as well as good salary package.as you are telling you are not a good programmer so at first you will learn then you will go to the company........otherwise you may lost your job duo to insufficient knowledge...............

in infosys there is lots of scrutiny don during the training period,
but the work environment of infosys is lot better.also the pay is better,

Infy conducts some tests during its training, and these tests are programming based. They may kick u out, if u perform bad(less than 65%) consistently. and their training is very stressful....They give salary of arround 12-13 thousands(after all the charges are deducted)..
But, joining would be earlier than TCS...
So dear, make ur decision.

TCS is way better than INFOSYS bcoz, thet treat their employees really well,good environment,job security is their just like govt. company and salary is gud...trust me.....i am working in tcs for 2 years now and seriously their is not much job pressure like infosys....i got 19000/- in my training period and now after 2 years my salary is 35000 oer month....go for tcs

Don't be afraid of programming, it will not be a deciding factor for your IT career what matters most is your zeal and level of understanding for the topic. If you don't feel confident then go to TCS as Infy's training is difficult but not undo-able. I've seen many good students getting sleepless nights. So make up your decision and CONGRATS for your achievement

infosysys is far far far..... better than TCS.. don't go away from programming skill. u will have growth in infy rather than TCS........no doubt infosys...not good...but better company..

hey TCS gives you more job security and work environment is also healthy. it's never so hectic. having an ECE backgrnd, u cn get many domains lyk ITIS for ur interest if not wiling to go fr developement only.... 1000 per month is not a big deal as it's just about 1 appraisal n u get a gud hike...
Moreover being in TCS avail hgud discounts on TATA products(cars, tanishk, shopers stop, westside, photon, watches n many more.....)
And the most important fact, TCS asks you about preference to choose a region of your choice(delhi, bangalore,mumbai, pune....) but infy just allocates you mostly to the opp. regions u belong to...

It is difficult to say that one company is better than the other in between TCS and Infosys.

Because both are top IT companies in India TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) and Infosys. Both are very good companies from several aspects like salaries, training and working conditions.

So it is your choice to choose the organization in either of the two companies.

What ever the company you join and whatever the profile you join my sincere suggestion is to put hard efforts, maintain business etiquettes, treats sub-ordinates in better manner and maintain good relations with others.

With these things if your performance is good, there is every chance that you will be respected in the organization and you may shift to higher profile.

However on my views you should opt for TCS as it has got better work culture and career progress as compared to infy .

Infosys is better place for to improve your knowledge.

But infosys is mostly depends on USA projects. so only they suffered during recession times. Many people get pink slip.

But TCS is does not depends on any particular country. they have clients from all over the world. So only TCS did not suffered during recession times

hi.i got placed in tcs.but being an eee student i dont have basics in programming. so what should be the preperations made before joining tcs.how will be their training period?

its not mandatory to be a good programmer coz they will instill programming knowledge into you.go 4 tcs if u want job security(they'll never sack u),or infy for more package.

i have aggregate 60% in BE. AS WELL AS 10TH 12TH BUT T HAVE 56% IN FIRST YEAR OF BE CAN I APPLY FOR TCS? IF NOT IN TCS .CAN I APPLY FOR OTHER ? WHICH ONE?

Congrats for selectiong in both companies.Its really a very good achievement for you.Its depend on your interest.Both companies are so good for future preference.Dont choose any one based on salary.Its more important that what is important for you to get good expiriance.Infosys is a good company but its not as good as tcs at present.Tcs gives good opportunities for your future preference.
Its also depend on you and your interest.So choose the best one.Its very good time to taking experiance from honourable company.It helps you in your future and also give more opportunities for you.
