What are the minimum educational qualifications required to become an Art Teacher through TGT in Central and in State like Uttar Pradesh?

=>> Qualifications of a TGT arts teacher.
1. Should have a bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate marks in corresponding subject.
2. Must have completed a B.ed or equivalent course from a recognised University.
3. Knowledge of Computer is considered as desirable qualification.

TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher.

The educational qualifications required for the TGT are mentioned below:-

1. Cnadidates must have completed their graduation degree in Arts discipline with 50% marks from any recognised colleges or, university.

2. Candidates must have B.Ed degree from any recognised university.

3. Knowledge of computer is necessary.

Below are the qualifications required::

TGT Arts: BA /B.com with the aggregate of 50% marks/Senior Secondary minimum least 50% marks & 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education.


TGT (Non-Medical): B.Sc (NM) with minimum 50% marks & 1 year of Bachelor in Education/Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks & 4 years of Bachelor of Elementary Education
