The minimum educational qualification required basically varies from post to post, i.e., the educational qualification required for Sanskrit teacher is different, for Hindi subject is different, for biology is different and for Art is different as well. Here are the detailed minimum educational qualification required for TGT Art Teacher Post in Uttar Pradesh are given below.

Educational Qualification Required: {Graduate Degree in Concerned subject Teacher Training Certificate}

For Art (Kala) subject: Intermediate with Pravidhik Kala Subject

For Art Subject: (PG) Post Graduation in Drawing

Age Criteria: Minimum age 21 years

For attending the TGT exam, you need to be a minimum graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. You need to have scored at least 50% of marks in the graduation level. For PGT exam, the candidates should have a PG degree with around 50% of marks from recognized university or college. For attending both the exams, you need to have a B.Ed. Also you need to have a teaching experience of 2 years for attending the PGT exam and 3 Years in case of the TGT exam.

Eligibility Criteria for UP TGT :

<> You should complete at least graduation from the recognized university with minimum 50% of marks. There is a Percentage relaxation for the reserved candidates about " 5% " (i.e., 45% ).

<> In addition to graduation you need to have " B.Ed " from the recognized board.

<> Age should be in between these limits.

-- Minimum Age : 21 years

-- Maximum Age : No limit

<> Selection process will be based on Written Examination and Personal Interview.

Date of Exam of UP TGT : In the Mid of November

Date of Notification : At the end of April .

Required qualification for TGT Art Teacher Post:

* The candidate who wants to be a teacher through TGT must be qualified in the TGT Exam.

* The candidate must have completed his/her graduation with minimum 50% of marks.

* The upper age limit for TGT Post is 35 years.

* The candidate should also possess the B.Ed degree.

* The candidate must be a citizen of Indian.

Minimum qualification required for TGT Art Teacher post in UP :

Candidate must have passed his graduation in relevant subject from any recognised university. Apart from this, candidate must have a Training degree to be eligible for TGT examination. TGT examination is conducted by UPSESSB for the recruitment of TGT teachers. After clearing this exam you will become TGT arts teacher in UP.

Age of candidate must be from 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is also there as per government norms.

It is good if you are thinking about teacher job. As you have done graduation and drawing course then you can easily apply for the teacher job.

For teacher job there is entrance exam of TET it means teacher eligibility test. All states conduct their own exam of TET.

You have to qualify that test after that you will be able to apply for the job as a teacher.
