NDA refers to National Defence Academy and to join NDA you need to qualify NDA entrance examination which is organized twice in a year by UPSC.

* The minimum eligibility criteria required to appear in NFA entrance examination are as following :-

a) You must be an unmarried Indian male citizen.

b) Your age must lie between 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

c) You must have completed your Class 12th with any stream from a recognized board of education. Further to join Indian Navy or Indian Air force your academics must include Mathematics and Physics as main subjects.

d) You must satisfy the physical fitness norm as per the service requirement.

Now as you are concerned about the minimum marks required in Class 12th to apply for NDA entrance examination then for your information there is no such requirement and hence any Class 12th passed candidate satisfying above candidates can apply for the same examination.

For details regarding NDA entrance examination you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in.

No, there is no percentage criteria required in 12th standard to apply for NDA examination. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination in any stream from a Government recognised board are eligible to apply for NDA examination. The age criteria required to apply for NDA examination is 16.5 to 19.5 years. So, after completion of your 12th standard from a Government recognised board, you are eligible to apply for NDA examination.
