Is there any age restriction to study Law?

I have completed my B.Com and currently I am 31 years old. Can I study LLB now? I heard that candidates above 30 years of age are not allowed to study LLB. Is it true?

No, it is not true that candidate above 30 years are not eligible to pursue LLB course.

So, you can pursue the course even if you are 31 years old.

The eligibility to get admission in the LLB course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

There is no upper age limit to get admission in the course.

LLB is Bachelor in Law . It is three year course from a recognised university.

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

As per Bar Council of India there is no upper age limit to appear for the examination to get admission in the course.

So, you are eligible to pursue the course.

Hello,
The Bar Council Of India has withdrawn the age restriction to take admission in law courses. The students are allowed to take admissions in colleges/universities in LLB or LLM courses without any age limit. the general category for the LLB Course was 30 years and for SC/ST and OBC, the age limit was 35 years.
Thankyou
