Re: Is there any negative marking in BITS Pilani exam?
You have not mentioned the exam you plan to take. For all the entrance exams conducted by BITS there is negative marking. So its better to avoid answering questions that you are not sure of. This being an online test you will not be allowed to correct any of the answers. So make sure you practice some online tests before taking the exam.

Re: Is there any negative marking in BITS Pilani exam?
Quote:
BITSAT is the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test which is conducted by the BITS college every year in the month of May. This is one of the top most colleges in our country for the technical education and so a lot of students take part in this exam every year.. Now Basic Eligibility Criteria says that the candidate should be a minimum 12th passes/appeared from a recognized school or open institution. Also you must be from the Science stream to take part in this exam. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the compulsory subjects. Another criteria is that the aspirants must have scored 75% and above in the board exams to be eligible to take part in this exam along with good marks in English. Also you should be having good knowledge about computers. Now coming to the paper pattern of BITSAT, It consists of 150 questions in four parts which will have 40 questions from Physics and Chemistry each, 25 questions from English (15 from English proficiency and 10 from logical reasoning) and 45 questions from Maths. The total marks would be 450.. i.e 3 marks would be awarded for every correct option and 1 mark would be deducted from the total for every wrong option that the candidate marks.
