In Common Proficiency Test conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), there is negative marking for selecting wrong answer but if you do not attempt few questions, there is no negative marking.
The test comprises of objective type questions divided into two sessions carrying 100 marks each. Each of these sessions are sub-divided into two sections.

SESSION – I

• Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting-60 marks
• Section B: Mercantile Laws-40 marks

SESSION – II

• Section C: General Economics-50 marks
• Section D: Quantitative Aptitude-50 marks
